Dogs Policy

Jasmine and Coach House only.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome for a small charge as long as considerate owners accompany them.

In return for allowing your dogs we expect, when its time for you to go home, to leave the cottage as if your pets had not been staying there. We are time poor when it comes to changeover days and we don’t want to be faced with dog hair all over the carpets, furniture and bedding (yes, it has happened!).Friendly Dog

Obviously we also welcome guests who do not own dogs and so it is important that you are sure your dogs are well behaved enough so as not to impinge on other visitors enjoyment of their holidays.

As owners you are expected to keep your dog/s under close control while staying at Wellstone. Please note that none of the cottage garden areas are dog secure. Dogs are not to be left alone in the cottages unless permission has previously been sought from ourselves and then only on the strict understanding that you believe that the dogs will not damage the cottage or cause a nuisance (barking etc). You must take sensible precautions not to allow pets onto furniture or into the bedrooms.

At the end of your stay you must remove all trace of dog hair from the property before departure. (Vacuum cleaners supplied). You must clean up dog mess as and when (and where!) it happens. Dogs must be kept on leads with the exception that they may run free in the woods.

We are sorry that these rules go on a bit but we really only want to welcome the type of dog owners who would comply with the above rules as a matter of course. If you think the rules are a bit fussy or you think you would have trouble meeting them then it’s probably best if you don’t bring your dog to stay at Wellstone.
