Just 12 miles from the stunning Pembrokeshire coast and three miles from the panoramic Preseli Mountains, Wellstone Cottages really does offer the best of West Wales. Newport Sands and Poppit Sands are the nearest beaches – both are perfect for families with shallow waters and big stretches of sand to play. Slightly further afield is  National Trust Mwnt Beach and Llangrannog with its beachfront pub, ice-cream parlour and cafes. Cardigan Bay just 25 minutes is ideal for kayaking, SUPs, sailing and fishing. This stretch of coastline is also fantastic for walking and wildlife and you can often see dolphins and seals from the clifftops. 

Inland, the Preseli Hills promise fantastic walks and cycle trails with spectacular views of the Pembrokeshire countryside looking out to the Irish Sea. Alternatively you can enjoy the river and its estuary; starting at Cenarth Falls, famed for its Salmon leaps and coracle fishing, the Teifi meanders through the valley to the marshes of the Aberteifi estuary.
